Dan McGarry

Based in Vanuatu, Dan McGarry joined OCCRP in 2022 as an editor for the Pacific Region. A former software professional, Dan came to Vanuatu from Canada in the early 2000s to work with civil society organizations and help them embrace internet technologies. A long-time writer and photographer, he contributed regularly to local media. In 2015, Dan took over the helm of the Vanuatu Daily Post and published numerous high-profile stories and investigations, often leveraging his tech skills.
