Hanedan General Trading LLC

Sanctioned companies

Hanedan General Trading LLC received $4,188,980 from LCM Alliance in 2013.

Hanedan Trading is a Dubai-based company owned by Mohammad Zarrab, Reza Zarrab, Camelia Jamshidy and Hossein Jagafzadeh, and is on the US sanctions list. It was part of a network of companies that US prosecutors say used the US financial system to conduct hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of transactions on behalf of the Iranian government and entities, laundering funds and concealing their true nature.

Between 2010 and 2015, prosecutors say, the company induced US banks to unknowingly process international financial transactions in violation of the sanctions – transferring more than $60 million through J.P. Morgan Chase, $92 million through Citibank, $15 million through HSBC, $71 million through Standard Chartered, and $1.7 million through Wells Fargo.
